Iranian shooter Mirshafiei secures 2024 Paralympics berth

TEHRAN – Mohammadreza Mirshafiei from Iran secured his berth for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

He finished fourth in the P4 – Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 at the Al Ain 2022 World Championships on Monday and booked his place in the Paralympics.

North Macedonian Olivera Nakovska-Bikova, Oleksii Denysiuk from Ukraine and Turkey’s Cevat Karagol won gold, silver and bronze medal, respectively.

Nasrin Shahi from Iran had previously booked her place at the 2024 Paralympics by winning a silver medal at the P2 – women’s 10m air pistol SH1.
