Sareh Javanmardi takes gold in shooting: 2024 Paralympics

PARIS – Sareh Javanmardi of Iran claimed a gold medal in the P2 – Women’s 10m air pistol SH1 of the 2024 Paralympic Games on Saturday.

She won the gold with a score of 236.8.

Turkey’s Aysel Ozgan won the silver with 231.1 points and bronze medal went to Indian shooter Rubina Francis with 211.1.

It was Iran’s first gold medal in the 2024 Paralympic Games.

Taekwondo athlete Zahra Rahimi and throwers Parastoo Habibi and Zafar Zaker had won three silver medals.
