Three Iranian wrestlers reach World Wrestling C’ships 2 semis

The 2025 World Wrestling Championships will held be from 13 to 21 September 2025 in Zagreb, Croatia. The venue of the competition is Arena Zagreb.

Iranian wrestlers Ahmad Mohammadnejad (61kg), Kamran Ghasempour (86kg) and Amirhossein Zare (125kg) crushed their opponents to reach semifinals on the first day of the tournament. 

Amir Mohammad Yazdani (70kg) left the competitions early.
