Iranians win gold and silver at UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup

Safdarian finished in first place in the men’s speed with a time of 8.60 seconds, according to Vatan News. 

Beheshti Rad came second with 9.06 and the bronze medal went to Florian Gantner (Lie) with 9.14.

The 2026 UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup was held in Saas-Fee, Switzerland from Jan. 22 to 24.
