Iran in ‘group of death’ of 2026 FIVB U17 World Championship

TEHRAN – Iran are drawn in a tough group in the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U17 World Championship.
The Persian have been drawn in Group E along with Brazil, Bulgaria and Japan.
The tournament will bring 24 teams together in six groups.
Iran U17 volleyball team is headed by Arash Sadeghiani.

Group A: Qatar, Mexico, France, Poland
Group B: Italy, Tunisia, India, Romania
Group C: Argentina, Puerto Rico, Pakistan, Algeria
Group D: Spain, Cuba, Venezuela, Czech Republic
Group E: Iran, Brazil, Bulgaria, Japan
Group F: Chinese Taipei, Egypt, the U.S., Turkey
The second edition of the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U17 World Championship is scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar from Aug. 19 to 29.
