Mehdi Tartar takes charge of Persepolis

TEHRAN -Mehdi Tartar has been named as new head coach of Persepolis football club.

Persepolis were due to hire Dragan Skocic as their new head coach but two parties failed to reach a final agreement.

Tartar has most recently worked as head coach of Gol Gohar.

He replaced Brazilian  coach Osmar Vieira in the Iranian giants.

Tartar has previously  played in persepolis as a player.
