Esteghlal goalkeeper Hosseini linked with Persepolis

TEHRAN – Esteghlal football team goalkeeper Hossein Hosseini has been reportedly linked with a move to Persepolis.

Esteghlal’s archrivals Persepolis have parted ways with Alireza Beiranvand and they are looking for a replacement.

Hosseini is a member of Esteghlal for more than a decade and helped the Blues win two titles in Iran’s Persian Gulf Professional League (PGPL) in 2013 and 2022.

Also, Gol Gohar goalkeeper Mohammadreza Akhbari is a candidate to join Persepolis.
