Iran Muay Thai girl grabs gold medal at 2025 AYG

Jani edged Natthida Kanyaburi of Thailand 29-28 in the final of the Girls’ -40Kg Combat Discipline 14-15, Vatan News reported on Sunday. 

The 3rd Asian Youth Games takes place in Bahrain from Oct. 22 to 31, according to Vatan News. 

The Games serve as qualifiers for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar.

Iran has sent 236 athletes to the Games, the report added.
