Iran to host joint training camp of sitting volleyball

Jalil Koohpayehzadeh said that as part of the preparation program for Iran’s national men’s and women’s sitting volleyball teams, negotiations have been held with Kazakhstan and Russia to organize a joint training camp in Iran.

“Both countries have agreed to participate, and the camp is scheduled to be held in Mashhad in February (2026),” he said.

Iran’s sitting volleyball team is the most decorated team in the world, having won the Paralympic gold medal eight times.
