Nuno Morais parts ways with Esteghlal

TEHRAN – Nuno Miguel Barbosa Morais has parted company with Esteghlal football club.

The 42-year-old coach was Ricardo Sa Pinto’s assistant in the Iranian team but canceled his deal with Esteghlal.

He was As a player, he spent the vast majority of his career with APOEL and win 16 major titles, including nine Cypriot First Division championships.

Nuno Morais started coaching career in APOEL in 2020 and also served as assistant coach in Moroccan Raja Club Athletic.

Media reports suggest that Khosro Heydari has been chosen as Sa Pinto’s assistant.
