Korea has pushed for an early goal early, but Ghana’s defense has yet to break and its fans are bringing the energy.

The Black Stars seized the early momentum back from South Korea and scored first thanks to a strike from 23-year-old Mohammed Salisu off a stellar free kick from Jordan Ayew.
34′: Ghana in control!
Another stellar assist from Ayew resulted in a Mohammed Kudus header and this young Ghana team seized control of a must-win match.
45+5′: Ghana almost made it 3-0!
The Black Stars nearly had a third goal before the end of the first half thanks to a well-placed corner kick from Ayew (who else) but South Korea keeper Kim Seung Gyu was just barely able to punch the ball out of play.
53′: What a save!
Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Ghana’s third goalkeeper who got the start Monday due to injuries to the two keepers in front of him, made a great leaping save to keep South Korea out of the back of the net.
58′: South Korea is back in it!
Korea’s turn for a gorgeous looping cross courtesy of Lee Kang-in, just in as a substitute. The pass found Cho Gue-sung for a header to knock past Ati-Zigi and give South Korea some life.

ANOTHER CHO HEADER AND KOREA HAS EQUALIZED IT. The forward sliced between two Ghana defenders to finish the pass from Jin-su Kim.

Korea coach red carded after game
South Korea head coach and former Portugal international Paulo Bento was furious at the referees after the game, as he believed his team deserved another corner kick before the game went final. Bento was given a red card.
